When you register your interest in a trip, then this is a positive confirmation
of your interest. Payment details are entered to the site and then payment
is held as a deffered payment. This means that your account will be shadowed
for the duration of the count down to the trip. If the trip goes ahead, then
that payment will be taken. If the trip does not go ahead, we will remove the
shadowing from your account and this will return the funds to your control.
We do not accept cash payment for trips. Likewise, we cannot accept people
onto the coach at pickup points. We will advertise that a particular trip is
definitely taking place and you may contact us by telephone on 01536 330789;
you can then talk to us regarding payment for definite trips at this point.
When you input payment details, your card details are passed
to a payment gateway wholly operated by Protx.
This gateway is secure and is the responsibility of Protx.
You will
receive a confirmation e-mail from Protx, we will also receive an e-mail confirming
your interest.
A registration of interest is a contract between yourselves
and Carters Travel to provide coach transport in one of our fleet vehicles
or one of an equivalent standard. This travel is to the advertised destination
and return to the place of pickup or a previously agreed location. The
prices may not be the prices as seen on the website. Current pricing is available
from Carters Travel by contacting their office on 01536 330789. Carters
Travel hold the ability to alter the prices without warning and this may affect the
prices on the website. In the instance of being incorrect, the prices held
by Carters Travel at their offices is the correct amount and this is the amount
that customers will pay for the travel or event. In the case whereby the amount
paid by a customer is not the total amount required, Carters
Travel will contact
the customer to either cancel the order or for authorisation for payment of
the difference.
7. Cancellation Policy
